Pavements and Roadway Development
Quality Control Testing for Roadway Projects
Earth Engineering Consultants LLC personnel routinely provide quality control testing for roadway construction. We are experienced with testing of airport pavements following Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) protocol, interstate and highway roads following CDOT protocol, municipal and private roads.
This testing of pavement often includes subgrade preparation, aggregate base placement, and roadway surfacing.
Certified Engineers and Technicians
Our engineers and technicians are experienced with Portland cement concrete pavement as well as hot bituminous asphalt pavement. EEC promotes certifications through the Colorado Asphalt Pavement Association (CAPA), American Concrete Institute (ACI), and Western Alliance for Quality Transportation Construction (WAQTC), and maintains laboratory accreditation through AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL) for quality management systems, asphalt mixtures, soils, and aggregate as listed below.
