Pavement Design

At Earth Engineering Consultants LLC, we are experienced in designing pavement sections for anything from low-volume, light-duty roads (e.g. parking lots, subdivisions, etc.) to high-volume, heavy-duty roads (e.g. arterials, highways).

 

Our engineers at EEC use data on the site soils, predicted traffic conditions, and our knowledge of the performance of pavements to develop appropriate roadway section recommendations. We work with local city entities to design pavements under their design criteria.

 

Oftentimes, many solutions are available to develop the roadway section (asphalt pavement versus concrete pavement). At EEC, those options are commonly provided to allow for a pavement selection appropriate for the particular project.
